Shane M. Frankl, FNP-C
Shane Frankl, one of ten siblings, was inspired by his father’s dedication to medicine. Growing up on a large cattle ranch in Western Montana, he witnessed firsthand how his father’s passion for helping others impacted their community.
Shane began his academic journey in Lubbock, Texas, earning his undergraduate degree from Lubbock Christian University in 1998, where he also met his wife of 25 years. During his time at the University Health Science Center at Texas Tech, he contributed to several publications and presented at national conventions. In 2000, Shane and his wife moved to Chicago, IL, where he completed his master’s and post-master’s degrees at DePaul University. While at DePaul and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he added to his list of publications.
Shane then completed an internship at the University of Chicago, working in the heart and lung transplant unit and the electrophysiology lab. He went on to earn his Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. In 2009, Shane, his wife, and their two children returned to Lubbock. Shane remains committed to learning from his patients daily and believes that if you give the body what it needs naturally, it has the power to heal itself.
